Swap

Swap is Privy’s main trading screen. You pay with SOL from your connected wallet, Privy executes the swap from a managed trading wallet, and the tokens are held for you as a position you can sell later.

Buying a token

   Choose a token

   Search by name, symbol or mint address and enter the SOL amount to spend.

2. 2

   Review

   Check the quote and the minimum you will receive with your slippage setting.

3. 3

   Sign the deposit

   Approve the SOL transfer in your wallet. The buy expires after 10 minutes if the deposit never arrives.

4. 4

   Done

   Privy takes a fresh quote, swaps, and records the tokens as an open position.

Selling

Pick an open position and sign the sell message. Privy swaps back to SOL and pays the proceeds to your connected wallet. A sell never executes below the minimum you signed for.

Refunds

If a swap fails after your deposit landed, Privy refunds the SOL to your wallet. Refunds appear on the Activity page with their own transaction signature.
